We’re packing up the wagon and gettin’ set for our show at Casino Nova Scotia; Music Nova Scotia‘s New Music Fridays will be starting with me and the band at 9:30pm, Friday September 6th, 2013. Be sure to be there!

 

 

The lads in the band (Chad Creaser, Drew Debay, Paul Pottie and Devin Small) and I are mighty pleased to be sharing the stage with John Campbelljohn and The BBQ Kings at Casino Nova Scotia‘s Harbourfront Stage on Friday, September 6, 2013. Music Nova Scotia‘s New Music Fridays concert series puts a lot of  home-grown talent on stage at a fantastic venue every week in the heart of downtown Halifax…we can’t wait to be there!

We’ll be kicking off the evening at 9:30pm with some tunes from my upcoming CD release, “Songs from the Former County”; plan on sticking around for the whole night, ‘coz the BBQ Kings and John Campbelljohn are sure to satisfy.

Here’s a sneak peek at the latest CD by Dartmouth, Nova Scotia’s hardy sons, The Repercussionists (a.k.a. Isaac Stowe and Stephen Terry). The lads were kind enough to invite me into Not in the Clubhouse Studio to add a little fiddlin’ to their song, “Smile”. 

Here’s Adam Townsend debuting his big bass fiddle at Celtic Corner‘s Open Mic (every Tuesday, 9pm-midnight). We’ve even got a little YouTube sample for y’all!
